With just one more week to go of the WriMoFoFo writing challenge, I have had the following epiphany: I cannot get through this coming week without wine and chocolate.
I have been trying to abstain from both of late, but have now chucked that resolve out the window.
Today I have ground my way to my word quota (a quota that is much larger than it was at the beginning of the challenge, owing to my extreme behindedness) and now deserve to celebrate with a glass (or possibly two) of shiraz and some 70% Lindt Madagascar chocolate.
And if I’m to grind out this number of words every day for the next week, I need an incentive (or possibly a lubricant)! Thank heavens rules are made to be broken.
