Gone on a journey…

I’m in Mongolia — how cool is that? Today I leave the city of Ulaan Baatar to join a two-week horse riding expedition through some national parks and across the Steppes. There will be no electricity or WiFi so I’ll be offline for the next fortnight…  

I’ll leave you with this little guy in Sukhbaatar Square, near Parliament House. We found many such lions as we wandered the streets of UB yesterday. They’re real Chinese style lions, when much of the city has strong Soviet influences. Fascinating.
